[Using Sakai] New Site Creation

Hi Everyone,


We have a question about your sakai relating to how new sites are created.  We are getting ready to establish integration with our backend management system and we are trying to decide what the best way to handle new course creations will be.  Currently, with our blackboard instance, we have a program that creates the courses manually before each semester starts but we are trying to see if that is indeed the best way to go with sakai.



We talked about the possibility of making the faculty members responsible for creating their own courses in the LMS and adding the enrollments but we're not sure that's the best idea either.  What is the process some of you use out there?
