[Using Sakai] WebDAV, AnyClient, Slowness

I think, native full-featured WebDAV clients are essential not only to overcome WebDAV idiosyncrasies constantly (re)introduced by different desktop OS versions, but more so to truly make it very easy for the silent majority (who is not tech-savvy at all) to automatically mount WebDAV folders on their Macs and PCs as if they were additional hard drives.

I wish using WebDAV folders throughout our institutions was as easy and second nature as using Dropbox.com.

Also, besides being full-featured, WebDrive and Xythos Drives have Mac versions, not just Windows clients as was the cases for years.

He loves Cyberduck, but on Windows 7, he reports that AnyClient seems particularly slow to upload (375 kbps, where he's getting much better upload speeds with Cyberduck). Barring some kind of network issue, has anyone else experienced anything like this? I know AnyClient is the preferred Windows client, but any other ones out there that people like which may work better for him?
