I'm asking because we are asked frequently for this feature, so I'm
trying to figure out if it would be adopted into the Sakai source code
so we don't maintain the feature ourselves for life.. I have been tasked
with developing the feature, so am willing to do so if that's the case.

We were thinking about having this sort automatically with most recent classes first but won't have bandwidth to start till spring, maybe summer.

Do your students maintain membership to past courses after they are
complete? We have a policy to close old course sites, so students only
have access to the current sites.

Thanks,
