[Using Sakai] Prefix functionality available in 2.5x or 2.6? (WAS: Re: [Using Sakai] Email List Subject Prefix )

There has been a request out there for this for awhile now, but it hasn't risen high enough on anyone's priority list to get implemented just yet:

Some of the initial designs for Sakai 3 do include this sort of functionality at the moment.
