Hi Susan
Ken Romeo has had to upload video for language classes for a while and might have something to say.
More than that, he's had this idea that it would be cool to be able to record directly from your computer to Sakai, ala Facebook. By saying this, I'm not suggesting that we're in a position to develop that functionality, but he's been wondering if there are others out there who would be interested in that.

Subject: [Using Sakai] video equipment
Hello all,
In Boston, many of the sessions were recorded or streamed through UStream. I'm curious to know what equipment was used to capture the session. It looked like those that were recording were using something as small as a phone placed on mini tripods. Was everyone using the same thing? Or, were different products used.
We would like students to record themselves and place their recorded file in the Drop Box of Sakai.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Susan
