[WG: Sakai QA] Sakai CLE 2.9.2 status

Hi All,

Thanks to the QA group for all the terrific testing!!!

We look like we are on our way to 2.9.2-rc02, hopefully within the next few days (or less). The CLE release team meeting minutes are at http://etherpad.ctools.org/rmmt-2013-05-02
. It seems like if we can get a few issues merged into 2.9.x then we can cut 2.9.2-rc02 (release candidate 02).

Please feel free to express if you have any concerns.

The main challenge of testing 2.9.2-rc01 (release candidate 01) is that we did more extensive testing on including movies in the Rich Text Editor (aka CK Editor or WYSIWYG editor) than ever before and we did not have a baseline against which to compare. Also, different movie formats may require different plug-ins in different browsers in order to play. We tested with the new AntiSamy security infrastructure turned off (default for 2.9.2), on low setting, and on high setting. AFAIK, the expected behavior of AntiSamy on High security status is not to play any movies except for Flash. The other movie types expose attack vectors. Also, movies hosted on external sites should play, like Youtube and Kaltura.
