[WG: Sakai QA] Messages & Forums: Testing Assistance Requested

Good morning fellow QA'rs,
     As many of you know, Messages & Forums is gearing up for an independent release (that will be a part of the 2.7 release).

Forums will be undergoing a number of changes along with bug fixes.  Highlights of the major changes include:


*         MSGCNTR-9:  Forums posts marked as 'read' after displaying all messages (optional / enabled by property)

*         MSGCNTR-255:  Addition of a Synoptic View of Messages & Forums for all sites

*         MSGCNTR-200:  Ability for specified roles to email author if messages/threads

*         MSGCNTR-200: Ability for site participants to receive notification

*         MSGCNTR-256:  Count of how many people have read a message will now be displayed

*         MSGCNTR-257:  View of all postings by an individual

*         MSGCNTR-179:  Display last activity time and sort by recent activity (optional / enabled by property)

*         MSGCNTR-169:  New and empty tool pre-populated with default forum and topic (optional / enabled by property)

*         MSGCNTR-195:  Ability to link directly to forum messages

*         UI Makeover

*         Performance enhancements

We've been doing testing but would like a broader set of eyes looking at the code.     While a comprehensive test plan is in the works, we do have a checklist of user facing functionality that can be used for testing that is attached.
