I completely agree, Neal. (Copying to PMC for further discussion.) I should
have been clearer in my suggested goals for starting an experiment. My
intent was for the PMC members to get a chance to try out the way that
Google Groups runs a Q&A Forum, compare it to what is/was desirable about
StackExchange, and determine if further experimentation is worthwhile.
Whether it is ultimately useful enough to make an official move (similar to
Github) is up to the PMC.
