[sakai-mobile] Latest code and contributing to the project

We are very interested in helping out with this project, and have a couple of Java developers who are currently getting themselves familiarized with Sakai.  At the same time we also have a development group who is starting to work on a PhoneGap proof of concept application that we are envisioning working with the REST APIs that this project is set on enhancing what is currently out there.

I'd like to make sure that our developers are getting the latest code from the Keitai project so that we aren't doing duplicate work and also will be able to contribute back to the project.  Is the new code being put back into Trunk or is there another branch that we should be checking code out from?

For our initial proof of concept we are looking to be able to view announcements and view and post to Forums and Messages (msgcntr).
