[Building Sakai] Archiving sakai sites

Hi Neal

Thanks for your time and effort answering my mails...

I will try and explain with some screen shots and hope that clears some
confusion. Below is a screen print I took of our local demo instance. On
the right hand side the Archived Sites are listed, and as the instruction
in brackets indicate "will display in Worksite Setup...". This is true,
however these archived Sites are removed from the top menu Sites lists, and
all users that were participants of these Sites won't see them or have
access to them once they are in that Archived list.

The problem that we now experience is the following; I Moved the Site
"Mtho's Test Site" also to the Archived column, and clicked "Update
Preferences" .

So according to my knowledge, that Site's participants should not have
access to that Site anymore and herein lies the problem. If I now become
one of that Sites participant users, I still have access to that Site:

Am I wrong in my understanding of how this archiving should function?
