[Building Sakai] Archiving sakai sites

Hi everyone

I've archived certain sites on my sakai instance using the Preferences tool.

But the participants within the archived sites are still able to
access(view) the sites.

I would like to prevent the participants of the archived sites from
accessing those sites.

Can anyone please shed some light.
