[Building Sakai] Portal Chat error message

Hi Omer,

I'm having similar problems here at Lancaster. I suspect it's something to
do with multicast and am currently exploring some options which I'll report
back on when I get somewhere. One thing that seems to get mentioned quite a
lot on the web is the fact that Java comes with IPv6 and IPv4 stacks and
that it may be worth trying adding "-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true" to
your JAVA_OPTS. I've not tried that yet.
