Hi Mthokozisi,

The recently published BigBlueButton 0.9.0-beta runs on Ubuntu 14.04. It
has been announced in this list just three days ago.

http://bigbluebutton.org/2014/10/16/bigbluebutton-0-9-0-beta-now-available/

I don't know if there is an estimated time scheduled to launch a stable
0.9 version, but you could wait to it. Or you can also set up a BBB 0.81
in 10.04 now and migrate it to 14.04 when 0.9 is ready.

Best regards.
