[Building Sakai] Sakai 10.1 & 10.2 build failure

Hi

Has anyone experienced the following when doing a clean SVN checkout, then
do a maven clean install (sakai:deploy...)

I helped a colleague with his Sakai local installation. The issue showed up
on BOTH Sakai 10.1 & Sakai 10.2. I have double checked over and over
and the file ObservingCourier.java does exist!

org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-compiler-plugin:3.1:compile
(default-compile) on project sakai-presence-tool: Compilation failure

[ERROR]

cannot access org.sakaiproject.courier.api.ObservingCourier

found
