[Building Sakai] - Assignment 2 datetime issue

In the Assignment2  tool for Sakai, there is a bug related to dates and times for Availability Details. Open Date, Due Date, and Accept Until Date are affected. The controls for these fields are generated using RSF and the Bean is updated using Ajax. When the user selects a timezone that is different than the default under the user profile, the Bean is incorrectly updated with the wrong combined datetime value. Where do the date and time fields from the generated RSF get concatenated to populate the corresponding datetime field in the Bean? From observation it appears as if the Time field gets converted and the added to the Date field.
