I guess you have changed the default template in Realms to include the new permissions for evaluations? This only affects NEW sites, the old ones still have
 the permissions that were in force when you created them. (Makes sense really.) 

 
Does that sound plausible?
 
You can either bodge up some SQL to change the DB or manually change the permissions on the sites that are giving you problems.

 
By “regular site” I mean Course or project site.

I followed the configuration steps and now I'm able to select courses as shown in the picture. The only trouble is that I cannot do it for the existing courses (created before the installation/configuration
 of Evalsys), but it works perfect when I create a new course (or site). Do you know why?


 


Also, could you please tell me what you mean by "MyWorkspace site" and "regular site"?

I think that your permissions are not well configured. Before the ad-hoc groups you should see a list of sites to which you can assign the evaluation. I paste an example screenshot of my test server:







I don't remember which permission is but if you configure the site as it is described in the "Getting started" point of

https://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/EVALSYS/Installation+Guide you should see the site available.



Anyway, the tool was planned to be added to MyWorkspace sites instead of regular sites. We have been using this tool several years added to regular sites (courses, projects) and this way there are several things that make no sense. Finally, we added the tool
 to every MyWorkspace site with a web service and now I think that we are using it as it was designed.

Please see the image attached to this mail. 'my own group' is an ad hoc group that I created assigning students one by one. I'm using Evalsys 1.4.
