[Building Sakai] Which tool is writing to /home/null folder

Since we upgraded to Sakai 10, we are seeing a /null folder under the 
/home folder of the user that runs Tomcat.
The folder has content like in /2014/231/02/xxxxxx under that..  I am 
confused which tool is writing to that folder..

Did I miss any property??
