[Building Sakai] Sakai 2.9.2 and later Web Content Tool

Hello Charles:

At UVa we are currently running Sakai 2.9.1 with local modifications.  We are interested in the "new and improved Web Content, Home, and Site Information Tool" you describe.

I've reviewed https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-12563, which also cites https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-23195 and https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-23224 as dependencies.

Would you expect patches created from the 2.9.x merged changes from these 3 JIRAs to be what we'd need to back-port this to 2.9.1?

Hi all,

If you are running Sakai 2.9.2 or later you have a wonderfully new and improved Web Content, Home, and Site Information Tool.  It does many things very nicely like never having an iframe within an iframe and having popups that are real popups with only the web site (the pre-2.9.2 web content tool even put popups in an iframe!).

The configuration of this new tool moved from a big "OPTIONS" button to a little pencil icon in the upper left of the title bar - near the help (?) icon.

University of Michigan made this cool graphic to explain it and I thought I would share.

When you start seeing the little pencil icon - it means you have the newest and most awesome Sakai Web Content tool ever.
