[Building Sakai] [Using Sakai] Password reset

Password reset issue has been resolved.

Steps:

1.       Added “support.email” in sakai.properties

2.       Set following  for “validate.passwordreset” template in “administration workspace” -> “Email Template Administration”

3.       Restart Tomcat.

Turn on debug logging for reset password and the email service packages and restart. Then see what's happening.

It probably won't help much, but as an FYI, I tested resetting my password on a local generic 2.9.2 and it worked fine for me.

You might want to check with the dev list - sakai-dev at collab.sakaiproject.org<mailto:sakai-dev at collab.sakaiproject.org> ?

And just be sure we are talking about the same thing, I went to My Workspace -> Account -> Modify details and changed my password from there. Logged out, and logged back in with my new password.

We have recently upgraded our Sakai from 2.8.2 to 2.9.2. Now “Reset Password” is broken. We have not made any changes in sakai.properties file. Any ideas?

Here is the error message in log:
No template found for: validate.passwordreset in locale en_US
