[Building Sakai] mysql transitions ..

Folks,
Just wondering if any campus had anecdotal info to share about migrating
from mysql?  Apparently it's become and issue for our us "license-wise" so
we're considering options.  Right now we're still on 2.7.x .. probably for
the next 6 months or so.  I know some campuses have tried mariadb.
