[Building Sakai] Filter Request before RSF EntityViewParamsInferrer

I'm wanting to look at a request in a EntityViewParamsInferrer. Is it
possible to make it a request scope bean and inject the current request? If
not is it possible to have something called before
a EntityViewParamsInferrer which does have access to the request and can
then set something in a threadlocal?
