[Building Sakai] Page Titles in Sakai 2.9

Hi,

You'd asked and had this question answered last month. There really isn't
any change to the answer.
http://collab.sakaiproject.org/pipermail/sakai-dev/2013-May/022708.html

The problem you're seeing that that synoptic tools (on pages like the home
page) are being displayed on the PDA portal. On the regular page navigation
you can have multiple tools to a page and visible at once. On the PDA
portal you can only have one tool to a visible at a time so it displays
each tool individually.

So on the regular portal it uses the page name (which represents the
collection of tools) and on the PDA portal it uses the tool name (which
represents the individual tool). Possibly solutions are:

- Change the PDA portal to only display the first tool on the page and use
the page name (Then some tools might not be visible on the PDA portal)
- Change the PDA portal to use the page name for every tool (Then you'd
have duplicate/confusing items in the navigation of there are multiple
tools on a page)
- Change the PDA portal to hide select tools (like the synoptic ones as
Gonazlo mentioned)

The PDA portal is expected to change in the future when/if dashboard
becomes part of the build and the primary focus of this mobile portal,
which would make synoptic tools unnecessary, the primary use case for
multiple tools per page.
