[Building Sakai] GB2 externally maintained items are copied on duplication

Hi
In the standard Gradebook externally maintained items do not get copied
when a site is duplicated. In Gradebook2 (1.8.1) those columns come over.
We would prefer GB2 to behave like GB1.

GB1 accomplishes this by checking assignmentDef.isExternallyMaintained()
and then skipping those columns (GradebookServiceHibernateImpl.java).

Any ideas on how to gracefully do this for GB2?
