[Building Sakai] News Tool

Hi All,

I have just put this link : http://www.sakaiproject.org/feed into the news
feed tool on our sakai instance, https://cle.wits.ac.za, which is running
2.9.2.

However, I'm receiving an error: Alert: This news service is not available
at the moment. Please check back later: : [Unable to obtain news feed from
http://sakaiproject.org/feed].

Would anyone know how to resolve this? We are a behind a proxy that needs
authentication.

Any help is appreciated.
