I think 2.10 has our 'soft delete' functionality': https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-19952 - a recycle bin if you like.

No use now but you could think of applying the patch in the future?

I was wondering what is the easiest way of restoring the deleted course data in Sakai if I have the backup of the mysql database that still contains that course.
