[Building Sakai] Images and links to resources in question pools

Hi:

 

If you create a question in a question pool and you want to put an image in
the question text  or answer text you can do two things.

 

1.       Use the rich text editor. Easy and user friendly way

2.       Use an attachment. Not so user friendly and you can’t put the image
in the place you want inside the text.

 

The problem with the first option is that these images are stored (if you
don’t do anything) in the resources of the site inside you are when creating
the question. Yes, you can store in other site if you want or have them in
your workspace but
 Images must to be public to be available to the students
when the question pool is used in other site!!!!  (you can play with
permissions to allow .auth content.read in that original site
 ufff
 complex
and not available for the users, only for administrators)

 

This can be a problem, because knowing the URL all the people can view the
image or publish it in facebook if they want!!!!  If that image is important
for the assessment
 then this is a problem!!!

 

So, the question is:   

 

How to put an image in the middle of the text with the rich text editor in
samigo to be available in all the sites as a question pool don’t  doing it
public?. 

 

I think it’s not possible to do it right now but maybe someone has a trick
for this. If not
 how you can imagine that a development can solve this. 

 

Maybe when you create an assessment based on a question pool in a site check
all the links in the texts and copy the images to the same folder than
attachments and update the links? (uffff again
 so complex
.)

Other solutions???
