Columbia did this move in July 2011.

What character set is your 9i database? Is it already UTF-8? If not,
you should take this moment to do a conversion; Oracle provides tools
to scan your existing database for "issues."

In addition, you want to convert your LONG columns to CLOB. If I
remember correctly, Oracle specifically recommends this in the docs.

Other than that, there were no issues.
