[Building Sakai] NeoChat for production use?

Hello,

As far as I understand neo chat and floating chat are the same. Is this true?
Can I use the floating chat without the portal neo skin? So with the default portal skin? Is portal 2.9.1 supporting this in default skin or just in neo skin?

The patches attached to https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-17524 are updated with latest bug fixes or those are outdated and some bugs are fixed just in neoskin?

Load testing hasn't demonstrated any performance problems, although the process uncovered a few bugs, which have been fixed. I'd say that confluence page probably needs qualifying.

Floating chat is a really nice feature, if I say so myself, and it seems a shame to denigrate it without some proper data.
