[Building Sakai] JForum for Sakai 2.9.0

Hello:
We are working on our Sakai 2.9 upgrade, and I'm researching JForum for 2.9.  We have been running JForum 2.8.1 with Sakai 2.8.1.


I see this Jforum 2.9 tag is available:
    https://source.sakaiproject.org/contrib/etudes/sakai-jforum/tags/2.9

Is there upgrade documentation available?  Any 2.8.1 to 2.9 database conversions?  I see the website references the former version (Jforum 2.8.1).

Related question: should we use the 'etudes-util' version 1.0.13 with this Jforum 2.9?
