Steve - It will soon be in trunk - perhaps a week or two. It is entirely seamless and backwards compatible and if anything goes wrong it is trivial to back out. You can easily switch any of the iframe tool ids back and forth between the old and new implementations.

I did not make switching a property because it happens at the moment of tool registration and I did not want to hack kernel. Switching back and forth requires a change to the ool registration XML files XML and a reboot.

I just want to do a week or two of review / cleanup before I merge.

And I think that it would be a good idea once it is back in trunk to evaluate it for possible 2.9.2 inclusion.

If all goes according to plan I will merge the iframe portlet code first and we can make a new branch and star to work on X-frame design and handling. I think the X-frame work will progress very quickly once the portlet is in place.

/Chuck
