[Building Sakai] Wicket, Portlets and JSR-168

Just a crazy idea - it seems as though the Wicket community is dabbling with JSR-168 support:

I am wondering if we could in one fell swoop eliminate the iframes of all the wicket apps.  It would also make it so we could build a completely frameless portal as the wicket applications were the last group of apps that resisted our efforts to inline in the PDA portal.
