[Building Sakai] Upgrade from Sakai 2.6.x to Sakai 2.8.2

Hi all,

What would be the best way to upgrade from a 2.6.x instance to 2.8.2? There
are only a few sites (less then 10) to take across. The Sites are mostly
Announcements, Resources, Assignments, Test & Quizzes, Gradebook, Chat,
Messages, Evaluations and DropBox.

Should we try and update the database or export/archive the sites? Has
anybody gone from 2.6 to 2.8.2?
