[Building Sakai] SCORM player for 2.9?

We are using the Contrib SCORM player on 2.8 with SoftChalk files (saved as SCORM 2004). We had to upload them to the SCORM Player tool in the course. We were able to link to them in Lessons but those links would need to be updated every term when the course is copied to a new site. I just tested it and the scores go to the gradebook as long as it's set up that way in SCORM Player, whether the student completes the SCORM activity in the SCORM Player Tool or if they use the link to the activity in Lessons.

Subject: [Building Sakai] SCORM player for 2.9?

Hi
I'm surprised we've made it this long without much interest in SCORM and Softchalk but we've finally gotten some pressure here. Rustici's player looked like one of the few commercial options until recently, but reviewing some discussions on list it seems like the Contrib SCORM player was greatly improved by Edia.

First, does anyone want to speak to their experience working with either of these?

Second, as best as I can tell from my web searching, neither is compatible with 2.8, let alone 2.9. Is anyone starting the work of upgrading the contrib tool to work with 2.9, or know of Rustici's plans?

I will also post this on the user list...
