Thanks, Raad. I will try this out. Hope it would help me get the following info:
How many visits to the program?
How long each visit? (Avg length of time spent logged on)
How many modules have they visited?
How many modules completed?
Thanks
Urmila

Hi Urmila
If you are using the Rustici Scorm Cloud service, you should be able to track your Scorm activity via the “sakai.scormcloud” tool. You should have added this tool to one or more sites in order to configure the Scorm Cloud plugin. The plugin tool has a number of usage displays, so you should be able to find what you are looking for; but remember that the level of tracking detail depends on what tracking information your package (in this case Captivate slides) is providing to the Scorm Cloud service.
You should also be able to log in to your account at http://cloud.scorm.com and track usage there.
Hope that helps.
Best regards
Raad

Hi Steve,
We have used Rustici Scorm player. I am not able to find a place, when logged as Admin, where I would find the module tracking info. Can you please let me know how to obtain this info ?
Thanks
Urmila

Hi Urmila,
Melete is a separate tool for content creation and publishing [1], and is not required for any of this. I don't think that Melete (or any other tool) provides module reading stats for SCORM packages. The SCORM package would need to do this itself.
cheers,
Steve

Hi Steve,
Thanks for your mail. Do we have to use melete/module, if we want to get the module reading related stats ?
Thanks
Urmila

Hi,
Sitestats works by reading the events that are published when certain things happen in Sakai. Because scorm is an external standard, it doesn't/wouldn't publish those events. It would be up to the scorm package to do any tracking as per the scorm spec.
Cheers,
Steve
