[Building Sakai] understanding sakai presentation of site

Hi All,
I am using sakai 2.8.1 i want to go through the presentation of site
starting from http://localhost:8080/portal

i have seen the complete code and make understanding that  sakai uses
velocity template.

please  anyone tell me which template is loaded on  first screen so
that i can continue to elaborate the presentation in sakai
