[Building Sakai] Ordering announcements in synoptic tool

Hi all,

Our university's staff is asking for ordering announcements in synoptic
tool.

I have searched in JIRA and I have found SAK8005, that is supposed to
duplicate SAK1774, but I have changed sakai.properties adding
sakai.announcement.reorder=true and I don't see any effect in synoptic
announcement tool...Am I doing anything wrong?

 

We have Sakai 2.8.
