Bob,

You would need /portal + /reference and then clean up the poms - - there was not (to my recollection) any really required changes outside of those two places. There should be no changes ot services or kernel outside those two places.

If you take the new (trunk) portal the default will be the neo portal - but you may want to change the setting for the chat.

Also test carefully anything to do with the editor in case some /reference stuff affected it.

I would start by grabbing trunk. But before you go into production, snag it from the next 2.9 beta so you have a better starting point. The current beta has the old neo skin.

Let us know how it goes.

/Chuck

You will probably also need to adjust a setting in sakai.properties to point to the new templates, portal.template=neo I believe it is called (check current trunk), and then for the skin as well, skin.default.
