[Building Sakai] Site Info, More link fails to show updated description (2.7.1)

There is an existing Jira for it - https://jira.sakaiproject.org/browse/SAK-20275. It seems to be fixed in 2.8.1.

Hello:

We are observing the following in Sakai 2.7.1, and wondering if there is a patch, or should I enter a JIRA for this?

a) In Site Info, click the "More" link to view the full site description (whether there is a description or not) in the popup dialog.
b) Then edit the long Site Description (Site Info > Edit Site Information).
c) Revisit the "More" link and see the version of the site description displays the old description text and does not reflect updates to the site description.
d) If you look at the "Home" link, the updated description text IS immediately displayed.

Is this due to a DB update delay, and if so, can we make the update immediate?
