[Building Sakai] In a particular site how to restrict students from sending messages

Hi
If unchecking msg.emailout for student doesn't prevent students from sending email in the site, what does it do? We were thinking about unchecking this for guests in our 2.6 instance.

Oh we'll that's pretty bad. Can you file a Jira to add that? 


The other way would be to hide the tool via page order light bulb, you then need site.upd to access it. So if you only have access and maintain type roles then its done.
