You mean that a wrong email template is sent out to user.

If so, we have the same issue with our sakai.2.8.x and it is a bug in email template. One solution is to via the 'Email template administration' tool from admin and add a specific local with 'en_US' for template: sitemange.notifyAddedParticipant

Our 2.8.x instance seems to be sending all the "You've been added to a site" notifications in Catalan. We've started Tomcat with

-Duser.language=en -Duser.region=US

And I've checked individual user settings to see that the sender and recipient of the message are both set to English.

Has anyone seen this before, or have any ideas where to start troubleshooting this?
