[Building Sakai] [building sakai] SEVERE: Error configuring application listener of class ?

Hi,

if you search the Sakai dev list for that error, you'll come across a thread about increasing the ulimit. Its a common problem.

Try running:

ulimit -n 5000

 or some higher value.
