How does Sakai know about your users? Do they come from LDAP or 
"local" account?

Since CAS only authenticates Web sessions, what are you using for 
authentication for DAV connections? Even if you use CAS, you are 
going to need something to back DAV requests.

You should test re-adding the LDAP provider to your 
configuration.
