[Building Sakai] Web service to map provider id to site id?

Hi Sakai developers,

We have several external systems who wants to get information about Sakai courses, e.g., knowing an enterprise course id to retrieve a Sakai course site link. I'm wondering whether this kind of web service is already available, or how other schools go about it.
