Hi Beith,

Thank you very much for the response. This is helpful. I have never used respondus before but this tool is available for us. What was the process that you followed in order to get the questions from webct to respondus to sakai.

Kind Regards,
Nguni

Hi Nguni,
Although we were able to export a lot of content from Blackboard 8 to Sakai using North Carolina's Bfree tool, this did not include tests and quizzes. We purchased a site license from Respondus to accomplish this which worked out well. We gave instructions to faculty on how to do this themselves and held workshops on the process but we also offered the option to faculty to have my team take care of this for them. I'm attaching the handout we created on the easiest way to do this (note that Bridges is our rebranding of Sakai). Once you get into it, the process actually is pretty fast.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about this.
Linda

Hi Beith,

I noticed in the email archives that you were migrating content from Blackboard 8 to sakai. I'm currently trying to export assessments from there to Sakai Test & Quizzes. How were you able to accomplish this?

Regards,
Nguni
