[Building Sakai] Not all sites show in My Active Sites

Hi All:

We have a user who was added to a site as instructor, but who does not see
the site under his My Active Sites tab. Under preferences, the site can be
elevated to being visible as a tab, but if it is pushed down the list, say
to the fifth position with 4 tabs showing, it no longer appears under the My
Active Sites tab. The user supports instructors, and his Worksite Setup
shows the site in question among approximately 500 other sites that he
belongs to. Has anyone encountered this behavior? Has some sort of limit for
displaying sites on the My Active Sites tab been reached?
