Thanks for your patch and soon, I will create a 2.8 branch for the Signup.  The 2.7.x branch has the latest codes, which is developed by people from Umich and it provides a new feature of attendance checking.

I've been upgrading out test server to 2.8 and bringing along a lot of extra tools that aren't setup for 2.8 yet (aka signup).  A simple pom change was all it took for signup.  I grabbed the 2.7.x branch because that seemed to have a lot more activity than trunk.  I've attached the patch to this email.  If you want to look at it just go to trysakai.longsight.com.  Most of the tools just need simple pom changes, but others are a lot more involved.  If anyone else is interested in other tools, let me know... he's the list that I've worked on:
