[Building Sakai] Roster not respecting Profile2 Privacy Setting for Email

We are using Sakai 2.7.0 with profile 1.3.11...

When we go into profile and go to edit the privacy settings, I select "Only Me" next to contact info.  When I goto a course that I am in as another user everyone can still see my email address in the roster tool.  It appears that the roster tool is not respecting the privacy for email but it does work as expected for a phone number.

To make this work do I need to change  set the sakai.property of

profile.manager.integration.bean=org.sakaiproject.profile2.legacy.ProfileManager

to make this work?
