[Building Sakai] Want to learn about RESTful web services and open source project

Hi,

    I am new to the mailing list here. I am a student trying to learn
about RESTful web services and open source project. I have looked at
https://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/KERNDOC/400+-+REST and
wanted to know more by reading the source code. I checked out the
source but cannot find where the implementation is. Can anyone give me
some help on where to start? Thanks?
