[Building Sakai] Roster sort order

I'm looking at an instance of Sakai 2.6 in which the Name column of
the Roster tool is populated with "First Last" for users
authenticating against LDAP.
I want it to read "Last, First" for sorting purposes...and changing
the way LDAP supplies the info isn't an option.

Can anyone clue me in where I might be able to modify the LDAP tool or
the way the LDAP info is getting into the system?
