Hi Paul,

Does you proxy requires authentication. If so it may well be that is
uses NTLM authentication that maven doesn't support, if this is the case
you will need something like NTLN-Apps (http://ntlmaps.sourceforge.net/)
or cntlm (http://cntlm.sourceforge.net/)

Have you seen the developers setup walkthrough?
